It's the lighting and a bit of a variation, I blended generally the same shade on my lid and just added a bit of a darker colour to my crease. I'm pretty sure I know what a smoky eye is but thanks.

There isn't just one clear cut definition of a smoky eye, I've talked to many people and they each have their own way.

Don't get offended. Making you angry wasn't my intention... However what you did is not a smokey eye. it is more of a gradient eye.. smokeye eyes are dark at the bottom getting lighter as they go up... Just ask Mrs. Jackie... Ask any professional out there... And again, I wasn't trying to be mean, just trying to help... Please don't take offense... Have a great day and stay gorgeous!

Looks pretty but agree not a smokey. You need to "smoke" your lower line, and goes darker on your top lash line and work it out and you are done! Pretty.

I agree there is no clear cut definition of a Smokey eye or any specific detailed way to execute it. but I do agree to smoke out the bottom lash line. Its a good makeup look regardless :)
