For it being the 3-5 week I don't feel it would be purging stage. I would stop doing it if I were you.
Also proactive does help but only when you are using it. It is actually really bad. It makes it so you have to keep using it and when you stop you break out worse. So please do not use proactive.
Personally I like natural ways of doing things. So try and find a detox that you like and drink basically everyday. I drink lemon water for a detox and I find my skin is cleans. When I do stop though and get back into it I break out for the first couple of days since it is getting all the waste out of my body. Once I get past that the breaking out stops.
Also a cleansing brush is amazing to have. I use it when ever I'm in the shower. I have used one for 3 years now. It is the first thing I do when I get into the shower. Also make sure your soap doesn't cause break outs.
Drinking lots of water through out the day helps a lot. I drink tea a lot of the time through out the day. Avoid carbonated drinks, energy drinks and stuff like that.
I hear sometimes doing exercises through out the week help. Haven't tried though.
For a while I too lemon juice and put it on my face. Then I would let it dry. I would do this every other day. I found it helped get rid of my acne and it also get rid of my oily skin. I don't do it anymore since I don't need it because my skin isn't oily anymore but it worked :). Also I would do this before I took a shower so I could wash it off. I would wash it off with the cleansing brush also. Soap and the cleaning brush :)

Products work differently on people's skin , so it might be good for you to try something different instead of ocm! Maybe give proactive a shot!
