For me its benefits they're real. You could get a travel size for $12 at ulta or sephora to try if you wanted :)

Lancôme hypnose drama is more for volume but it holds a curl and separates too :)
Tartes lights cameras flashes separates nicely as well.
Loreal million dollar volume (or something like that lol) is great for length and separating.

The Smashbox mascara separates really well...overall it's probably the best I've tried and I've tried BADGal, They're Real (formula too runny for me), Covergirl Flamed Out, Stiletto... I like most of these except They're Real. I'd like Flamed Out a lot more if it didn't transfer everywhere during application.

Definitely suggest using benefits their real, if you're not into spending twenty bucks for a tube of mascara, just buy a mini and use the wand on any of your other favourite drug store mascaras :) the wand is what does all the separating
