Is it really as good as everyone says? Or do ones bought off amazon work just as well?

I never tried the beauty blender. I know real techniques has there version of a beauty blender and on one side it's slanted. I absolutely love it for when I'm in a hurry getting ready. I like it so much I don't see a point in buying a beauty blender.

I suggest buying a cheaper version of the beauty blender. some of them work just as well.

I have a beauty blender and I love it, I also have 2 cheaper versions of it and do work as well also.

I agree with Brooke. I've never used the beauty blender and I honestly don't want to. The real techniques sponge is AMAZING and it's affordable. It leaves your skin so flawless! I just can't pay $20-$25 for a sponge. Lol

I agree with Cali. I bought it because of the hype and returned it. My Tarte Airbrush Foundation brush is my main face application brush and so far nothing has beat it out. I didn't like the BB, I didn't really see a difference or anything amazing about it.

My opinions on it are the same as MUA Jordan Liberty. ' It is a waste of time.'

I've tried several types of more affordable sponges they just don't work that well for me. I feel like they're super stiff.
CALI: I really like sigma, I have a few of their eye brush sets. I was thinking about the fave brushes but I don't know how I'd like them since like you said they're an investment.

I absolutely love the beauty blender! However $20 is a little expensive for a sponge, so I tried out the Real techniques sponge thats $6 and I just uploaded a review and first impression on it if you wanna check it out :) http://youtu.be/07QBIqj24jk.

I just apply foundation with a brush all over my face and then go over it with a cheap ass makeup sponge to get rid of any brush lines and to press it in my skin. it also sucks up left over oil.

I personally like my beauty blender (: brushes are absolutely better, but I think it's a good tool for beginners or someone who can't afford to buy a brush set. it's also good for getting a really natural look :p.

Don't buy a cheaper version. Nothing compares to the real thing which is a miracle worker. I know 20 dollars seems like a lot for a sponge but just do it and you will be glad you did! 😊👍

Abbey, that's what I was thinking. The cheaper ones aren't doing it for me and I've tried quite a few different ones. I'm definitely thinking the BB will be better especially for the price 😉
