An 11 year old shouldn't be wearing makeup! She will end up with self esteem issues

I would get her a tinted moisturiser, or a sheer mineral foundation, some brown mascara, blush, a pink lip stain, clear lip gloss, a nude or white eyeliner and for special occasions buy her an eyeshadow palette of nice easy colours like browns and pinks. A perfect one is the Collection Smokey Eye Palette (its all very wearable colours) or a Catrice palette and a brown eyeliner. You could always buy her a few colourful eyeshadows to play around with at home. This might sound like a lot but shes probably only looking to experiment with it around the house and most likely won't wear more then the lipgloss outside. Show her how to use it and do different things.

I would do eyeliners and lipsticks and some eyeshadows, if she is barely learning how to apply makeup!! I loved makeup when I was little!!

Why are you people so aggressive on here? Grow up. Seriously
I'm just saying, even though it's fun to play with makeup at that age, she should be taught that she doesn't need it to be beautiful

@mairead, that's incorrect my dear. Everybody is different.

Clear mascara, lipgloss, a few neutral eyeshadows(until you know her commitment to applying it in the morning, I know I would be hurrying and just throw on a blue eyeshadow without paying much attention to what I was doing :o)
I think it is great that she is being introduced to make up in a nurturing environment! when I was around her age I started playing with foundation and eyeshadow and was constantly laughed at by my family for trying to be grown up. I believe it helps self confidence :)

Just mascara and lip gloss. By just applying mascara, your whooole look changes. Nothing in the face though. I don't think she would like to ruin her face so young.
