I was in Dillards looking for a silk slip and was lured over to the makeup section. The counter manager at Giorgio Armani greeted me by name and it was wrap as she showed me the Spring 2014 release. Intially I was not impressed by this gray looking tube of lipstick. But when she swatched this on my hand...it came to life. It is the complex dirty dark lavender shade with a pink sparkle to it. Its far from being considered a flat shade. I took it home along with another lippie. Have you ever at first glance looked at a shade and said "no" only to swatch it and fall in love? Lesson learned...never judge a book by its cover. You never know what you'll discover.

@Naomi...the one on the left is Rouge Ecstasy in milano #202 and the ghastly looking purple beauty is rouge d'armani sheers in belladonna #614.

@Naomi...I blew my $25 cap on lippies last week and this week...I have several tubes from YSL and Dior. I have this sick addiction to lipstick now. I don't even want to add up how much I spent so far just on lipstick alone. I need to start purging.

@Naomi...yes to both YSL and Dior. @Tina...yeah its bad because I've gotten to know some of the staff on the sales floor so I could be on the 2nd floor and bump into an associate who then lures me downstairs.

Wow what a gorgeous purchase I definitely agree I went to sephora because I was looking for a beautiful nude muted pink brown but I was eyeing ysl the girl said taupe raphael lipstick I was iffy got home tried it out instant beauty its semi matte but is beautiful :D great purchase Shelley ;D.

I'm pretty impressed with the shade. I think with the purple lippie I will just do a simple winged eye with it. I want the lips to be the focused.
