I have super straight shiny fine hair! i love volume and wavy hair I braid it without any conditioners in it overnight, but the waves don't last :( what do you recommend?

I have the same issues. Straight, super fine, long hair and bunch of it! I think it's important to continue to use conditioner, but only do it on the ends of your hair, and not the hair near your scalp. In terms of waves, I use BioSilk Beach texture spray and that really seems to work well for me. I spray it on my wet, combed hair and then scrunch my hair up a bit. Then I will take Scruples hair gel and use some to continue scrunching my hair. Then I braid my hair in two side braids (preferably French braids-- they don't have to look pretty, they just have to get the job done) and then I spray the Biosilk spray all over the braids again.
You want to make sure if you do this that you will have the braids in for a long enough time for your hair to dry. So I normally make sure I have enough time for the braids to be in my hair for about 8 hours.
When you're ready to leave the house, spray the braids with hairspray, I use Garnier Fructise humidity blocking hairspray. Then I take the braids out, spray MORE Biosilk and a liiiiittle bit more hairspray.
This seems like a lot, but for us fine-haired girls, it takes a lot. Hope this helps you out!

You may be able to find a diffusing method that works for you! A little mousse or curling cream, a diffuser, and some hairspray may do the trick!

There is a method called COCOON CURLS. Search up a video on youtube and you'll see that it can turn straight hair curly and wavy. Hope this helped!
