Gel other than DIPBROW...

I was so set on trying the Anastasia dipbrow but I've read posts saying that you need a light hand and it's a little bit to get used to. the Ulta rep even steered me away from it :( but I knew how much everyone raved about it.

I just received the Tarte brow gel and I think I'm in love. I'm not very experienced with filling brows but I love the ease of this. the gel feels super light.. the brush is super soft and it's easy to build. AND it's cheaper than Anastasia... AND it comes with a double-ended brush! :)

here is my before and after. any tips and suggestions I would love to hear. I just hope someone else out there enjoys it as much as me!

You know what... I'm sorry... when I said it's cheaper I meant that it's cheaper than buying dipbrow and the brush seperately. Tarte cost $28..Anastasia is $18 each.

Very nice Nikelle,I like the finish I'll have to look at that, thanks for sharing.I personally looked at the Anastasia brow pomade and messed with it for a bit and I'll just give you my honest opinion it was like using a freshly opened Mac fluidline pot I didn't noticed anything special about it :-\ I also tried Too faced bullet proof brow clay and that was ok it stuck to the hair and lasted all day. I just think it needed more depth in the color but it did it's job very well.I concluded that these brow gels or clay can only be pulled off on certain brows. If you noticed all the pictures with Anastasia pomade on they all have Fuller brows which is nice and can easily hide the harshness of the product but when you see some use it with light or next to no hair you can see the pigmentation of the gleam reflect from the product like a soft tip pencil used to draw a brow,(hope that made sense lol

I agree with Alma I love dip brow but I do have crazy thick brows I can see it maybe being hard for someone with sparse hair to work with it. you may get the sharpie look lol.

Haha, the Sharpie look!! I thought the dip brow gave nice "life" to my brows (as opposed to the Anastasia Brow Wiz, which lately I'm hating because my brows look flat like chalk), but I haven't committed to buying yet...maybe I'll check out the Tarte instead! Thanks, Nikelle!

Actually makeup auntie... I have to disagree. I don't really have brows. They are very thin. I don't really have a tip of the brow or front either. Most of the hair (the little there is) is in the middle. The dipbrow pomade goes such a good job of coating the hair I do have, keeping it in place as well as creating a budge proof illusion of a  brow
