I always like the cat eye look and when put eyeliner on the inside of your eyelids, but I think it makes my eyes look really small. I just don't know what make up style would suit me, any suggestions?

if you like the cat eye but find it's too sharp of a look.. use shadow instead. or use a liner you can smoke out a bit. it'll soften the look and your eyes might not look so small. i'd also recommend using a dark brown instead of black.. or even a dark grey :)

oh & if you're doing your cat eye liner on your top lid, try lining your lower waterline with a white or nude pencil to open your eye.. as well as putting a light shadow on your inner corners

I agree with Samantha. If your eyes are already naturally small, lining your waterline with dark colors "closes" the eyes. If you want your eyes to appear bigger, line your waterline with white or nude. Shimmering shades in your inner corners and brow bones help too. If you're doing smoky eyes, do how you usually do your eyes, with the light liner on the waterline, and a dark shade on the lower lashline. Hope this helps :)
