Waterproof mascara is slacking! argh!

I use the l'oreal carbon black waterproof, yada yada, mascara. And either I squint too much or this mascara is NOT acting waterproof! It used to be okay, but then when I wore it out tonight it transferred horribly!! Anyone have another mascara recommendation?? Something that doesnt make me look like a racoon!!!

How old is the mascara, is it time to replace it?

I like using Voluminous Carbon Black on my top lashes, but if I use it on my lower lashes it transfers like mad. I prefer to use Clinique's Lash Power (it's a tubing mascara) on them, and for once I don't have to worry about raccoon eyes.

I have had it for atleast 2 months I suppose, could that be why it transfered? Bc it rarely ever did, and last night it transfered more than ever! (btw I only use it on my top, not bottom)

I stay away from waterproof mascara! It is so hard to get off, I end up hurting my eyes rubbing! I tend to stick to smudgeproof instead! I have a Covergirl Professional mascara and I love it. I am also using Falsies! I like them both!

Maybelline Falsies does not budge at allll when I wear it. They have waterproof and not waterproof. I've tried both and I prefer the not waterproof version because the waterproof version is sooo hard to get off.

I stay away from all water proof mascara because none of them seem to be truly water proof for me. It ends up as dark circles under my eyes most of the time. Maybe it's my asian eye lashes though.. they stick straight down and hardly hold a curl =[
