Two years ago, I had dyed my extra long hair a light copper brown(it was in at the time.) After realising the damage it had done to my hair, I decided to chop half of it off to my shoulders. Every month or so, I would chop an inch or two more off and now, it's about 7 inches past my shoulders, the ends still dyed. I had been so peeved and wanted to chop the rest of the color off so my hair would be a nice dark black all over again. Then, the ombre hair color trend came. Now my hair is "in fashion" of all things. Any of you have similar beauty coincidences where you are accidently in trend?

Fashion does tend to come and go in cycles. I realise that, if you wear something for long enough, it'll eventually come back into fashion.
My style is more rock & roll. I grew up with it and now I work in the industry. I used to be the only one to wear rock tees and ripped jeans with biker boots and spikes/studs and I kinda liked it that way but then the whole punk/rocker fad blew in and it's sort of never left. Oh, well. I'm sure I'll be embarrassingly unfashionable again soon enough. Heh.
