I was the same way when I first started my channel so I just did a simple eyeshadow tutorial. I would really recommend an introduction video, just telling youtubers what your channel will be about and a little about yourself. I've had mine for about a month and I love it ..hope this helps :) http://www.youtube.com/user/SparklyBooobs <-my channel link

Hey! I agree with Renee about the introduction video -- even though it's a bit hypocritical of me, because it took me like 2 months since my introduction video to put up my first "real" videos! Lol... but yeah, that's always a good one -- either that or a tag video that's searched for quite often, such as the What's In My Bag tag -- everyone loves those! Good luck xox

To start blogging you need to 1) Determine what your blog is going to be about. 2) Think of a name. 3) Pick a website to start your blog on.
As far as starting a channel it's pretty much the same process. My first Youtube video was a haul.

Obviously to start with, you'll need to do the things that Raisa suggested, but as videos/blog posts go, start with something simple, but that people will find useful (but not overdone). So maybe a tutorial using drugstore products as a lot of people can't afford or don't own high end stuff, or maybe a summer tutorial. Or, you could start with a review, haul or makeup collection/storage video. Good luck! x
