So we all obviously take pics of our work but which cam would you say is the best to use for your portfolio? Reasonably priced ones of course! xoxoxo

Are you looking for a point & shoot or a SLR?

you should look at the Canon T3 or a cheaper route would be the Sony Alpha Line :) Hope that helps! Im currently on the market for one and I've done some research!

Same question as Andrea. Either if you're looking for a point & shoot or a SLR I love Canon. Easy to use. Canon Powershot (P&S) Canon Rebel XS would be a nice one to start with if your looking to get a SLR. Not sure if it matters wether or not it takes video, if so then the XS doesn't but if you go a model up (T3 as Brenda mentioned) it takes HD video as well. Only thing is when you record with that you can hear it focus on the video. Hope that helps.

If you're looking for something easy to use, deff go for a canon point and shoot s95. It's still a little pricey, but the quality is beautiful and crisp for a point and shoot. If you're looking for something a little more advanced than that go with the Canon g12, it falls into the area of an "advanced point and shoot." If you're looking for an DSLR, go with the Canon Rebel T3. It's amazing, there are a crazy amount of settings, but I must warn you, since it is a DSLR, it's bulkier, and its harder to use if you're taking self portraits. I have all three, and personally think you could do well with Canon S95 point and shoot. Just make sure you have great lighting-it makes the difference.
Also, another thing to keep in mind is, since we are approaching the Fall seasons, Canon will be introducing the newest models, so the older models prices will be reduced soon. :)

LOL @ Andrea you'be lost me!!! don't know my cameras verry well
and with me I just want a camera that produces perfect pictures so no cameras that give you that ghostly look or those dull pictures...
I'm currently looking at the Fujifilm cameras and what I have seen seems to be quite good although I will look at the Canon and Sony range , don't want to spend anything over £100 though :/ xoxo

I use a Sony Cybershot & for the most part it does a great job but I am looking to get a new camera in the near future to help with the autofocusing on tutorials!

I would like to know this too. I have started making youtube videos and my fuji camera isnt that great. Its ok I guess but I really want a better camera for zooming in, good sound, and clear pictures. I will be waiting for the suggestions :)
