Babessss, my sweet 16 party is coming up and I need some makeup looks to complement my dress! my dress is white with a yellow-orange/hotpink/grey-black floral print! can someone help me look for a pretty nice tutorial that goes with this? I have pictures!

With such a crazy big pattern, it's probably better to keep your makeup more neutral and simple. Try to use light toned shimmering eyeshadows for the eyes to give you a glowy 'look at me' look without going crazy,

I agree with both Kelsea & Brie! A very simple contoured eye with a light shimmerling lid would look great! & topping it off with a bright lip would look great against your dress. :D

I agree with Kelsea. My cousin had hers not long ago and she had a hot pink dress so she ddnt do a dramatic eye or bright lip. Id recommend the same light shimmer eye but not too glittery and a pink nude like color on the lips

I think if you kept your eyes/lips neutral and used a pink glittery liner and made a super thin line along your upper lash line it would make your eyes pop. NYX Cosmetics has Crystal eye liner for that, my favorite is the blue but they also have a pink color I think would be great for what your trying to accomplish!

If a lot is going on with the dress keep your makeup simple. Neutrals would be the way to go : )

I had my photoshoot yesterday and went to the beauty salon to get my hair and make-up done. At first I didn't know what to tell her and when she asked me if I wanted a natural or dramatic look I went for the dramatic one. She ended up doing the contoured eye and going very far up using some pink in the center. Then she applied a hot pink lipgloss. I wasn't too pleased with the results, I looked like a drag queen! I had too much blush on and I hated the lipgloss on me so I removed both of, I luckily had some of my makeup in my mom's car when she picked me up and I re-applied some blush on but not too much and I ended up liking it! I'm posting some pictures of my photoshoot later, but here I'm attaching a picture of the dress you you can see it isn't an overwhelming pattern! It's almost like a prom dress I would say. For my big day (july 23rd, next saturday) I hired a different make-up artist.. And wondering if you see the dress do I still go for the neutral look or do I go more edgy?

I think a pin-up kind of look would be really cute with this dress, a soft pink eyeshadow and dramatic black liquid liner just along the top would be what I would go with. That's a classy little dress!

If you weren't so crazy about the dramatic eye makeup look, try something neutral. I did a video on this, a makeup look specifically on a white dress :) check it out! i personally love the makeup she did for you but considering your age and the type of party it is and outfit your wearing its very over the top! i would definately do a very simple elegant neutral eye with a bright lip, it would look beautiful on you! + happy birthday for next saturday!! :)
