I've never gotten a wax but I shave and don't have any bumps. I use EOS shaving cream. I feels like lotion. You can also use lotion and shave with it. I'm not sure why, but it works!:)

Hey we're all comfortable here right? This is like the "bra talk" when we were younger. lol.
Anyway, some people say to trim your hair first to prevent tugging while shaving.
Personally, I like to use conditioner to shave because it does just that. Conditions and makes the hair softer. For me, it also helps prevent bumps. I've heard of using lotion as well. Try to shave in the direction the hair grows in to also prevent bumps and stubble.
I guess that's it? lol. Yeah, it's a little awkward. :P

trim it first then shave it using a good shaving cream. There are specific kinds out there for that area to prevent it from getting iritated. Also, there are lotions and creams to apply afterwards that can help as well.
For me, at first, there were a few bumbs and it was a little iritated just because the area wasnt used to it and the hair is coarse. But after a few times, your skin will get used to it and wont be bothered.
Also when shaving, shave down, not up the first few times or it can hurt like a b*tch!!
lol
Hope that helps!!!

there are bikini zone products that are supposed to prevent bumps. but trust me, once you start waxing you will never ever want to go back to shaving, especially since it lasts longer lol

I got my first brazilian wax today and I loved it. It wasn't painless but it wasn't painful, either. Getting the brazilian was easier than waxing my eyebrows, getting tattoos, and piercings. If you are still interested in getting one, I would say to not shave for 2-3 weeks, take a motrin or advil, wait a week after your period, and relax.

getting a brazilian wax is great. It hurt like hell but the more you do it the easier it gets & the results are worth it. But everyone is different when it comes to pain. You can try Pure Romance Coochy rash free shave cream...no red lumps, a little goes a long way, its great stuff! I also use it for my legs & underarms.

I dont think i could let someone see all my little areas! but one day i want to try to get professionally waxed.
I usually dont shave or anything... is that bad? lol im just so laxy!!! But when i do try to clean up, i use a trimmer as well as nair. Most of the time i shave though. From what I've read your supposed to shave in the same direction the hair grows not opposite. It helps, but it barely gets any hair!!!

I have used the above mentioned "Coochy Cream" and Pure Romance has a shaving lotion as well. They both work pretty well. I feel like they may dull my razor faster.
I want to get a wax job too but they are soooo expensive! Anyone do it themselves? I have heard some people do it all the time and then horror stories.

I also suggest Coochy Cream. :) I still get some irritation, but I've got irritation with waxing as well.
