So, the only high end product that I have ever purchased is clinque foundation. I am in high school, and I take to many college classes to have a job at the moment so I really dont have that much money to spend on makeup. I was wondering if the naked pallet was worth the money. My birthday is coming up and my boyfriend keeps asking me what I want. should I tell him the naked pallet or just get something else?

If you're looking for a good introduction to more neutral high end eyeshadows, I'd say go for it. It was my first high end palette and I adore it.

Its the first high end product that ever really caught my eye. Plus I have watched a lot of tutorials and everyone seems to like it! I think that I will enjoy it. Have you purchased any more high end products after that?

I feel that the Naked palette has too many shimmers for a natural look. If you want more natural makeup I would go with the Smashbox softbox pallette. If you want a lot of shimmer then go Naked.

i agree with gabbi. it's a great mix of neutral shades that you can play up for day or night when you have the chance to go out. there's also a nice mix of textures in the palette as well. i like how there's a few matte shades plus some shimmer and then chunky glitter.
this is a good high end palette to start out with- UD is the creme de la creme of the eyeshadow world in my opinion. they put out great palettes and the quality is amazing. it's a good place to start with high end shadows and you'll get the most use out of the naked palette's color selection since it's highly wearable

Ahh, yes... Jamie does have a point... the Naked Palette is rather shimmery, so keep that in mind. But yes, I have bought quite a few high end products since... become a bit of a makeup fiend, I have... I now have the UD Book of Shadows and their Feminine palette as well as some other brands.

I highly recommend this palette if you love shimmer as everyone is saying. The palette itself has more shiny/glittery colors but they are beautiful! I would say to go to Sephora and look at the colors yourself and try them out... It wouldnt hurt!!

It is a great palette, but you might also want to look at the UD 15th anniversary palette. It has a lot of great neutrals, and a few more fun colors too. I have both and I think the 15th anniversary palette gives you a lot more options. But the Naked palette is probably more appropriate for wearing to class or whatever.

I love my palette (: You can achieve so many awesome looks from it. I've always got my palette on hand when I'm doing makeup looks... Seems like there is always a shade I can use from the palette. It's well worth your money! (:

i love it! like a lot of girls have said, it is a bit shimmery! but i find myself using with other eyeshadows too. i did a pink soft smokey eye using creep. i'm broke like you but i splurged on it & find myself using it still almost daily! atleast one shadow out of it.
