There is so much misinformation for consumers out there about hair extensions. (Mainly because the manufacturing companies are more interested in making money than providing a safe product.) I have been an extension artist for over 10 years and see it all. Recently a new client came in with 3 month old extensions that had dreaded and merged together causing her breakage and discomfort. A tidy up cut would have avoided this. The application was poorly executed and the fine texture was not taken into consideration. Education is key. For the client and the stylist. Yes you can have safe damage free extensions but do your homework. If you have any questions let me know. Also check out http://www.putmeinyourhair.com for more info
