I just did a blog post on this today. I've started today and this is my 2nd time doing it, although, if you go read my blog, you'll see that I cheated the 1st time back in 2009. HA!
My reason for doing it is because my collection is out of control. It's not even funny and I'm starting to feel guilty and embarrassed about it. One thing I am doing is avoiding all the e-mails with deals...I'm just deleting any makeup related e-mails from my inbox. Second, I am going to focus on using the products that I do have and create looks with what I have. If you see a tut on youtube where they use products you don't have; why not shop your own stash to see if there are close dupes, rather than running out to buy what they have? Lastly, avoid Ulta, Sephora, etc. You will get sucked back in so easily if you even walk past those stores. HA!! Be Strong! You can do it!! We'll be each other's support system!! :) Good luck!
