I honestly believe that threading is much more better than waxing. I have been threading my eye brows for about three years now and i definitely recommend. i remember when i used to wax i would start to break out and my eye brows always would swell and they would look extremely red.
Threading does not hurt at all, it feels like plucking your eye brows

yea, absolutely, my advice is to let your eye brows grow for at least a week or two and then go and get them threaded, so that when you go they can give you a nice shape, and they do thread around the lip area, i definitely recommend switching to threading !

Monica , your welcome! before when i was waxing i swear i had nooo eye brows! they waxed too much off and skin was always red. but trust me let them grow out and get them threaded the only annoying thing is that you have to hold your eye brow up to that who ever is able to thread, youtube some videos and see. but trust me you would loveeee threading, and i think that waxing hurts 10 times worse, tell me how it goes !

i've heard that threading lasts longer than waxing too, from your experience is that true? because i've been considering for awhile to get mine threaded but i'm not 100% yet

hey Sabrina, it does last longer, it also depends on how fast your eye brows grow too, i usually go every two weeks and its just to clean them :)

thank you! i've been considering to get mine threaded for soo long because i love the shape it gives you but i've been worried that i might not like it and then it'll take awhile to grow back in.

I do prefer threading, but my hair doesn't seem to grow fast enough for it which is all my fault. I did recently get my chin hairs threaded. If you don't have a high thresh hold for pain, I do not recommend it. Ha~ha.

Hehehe, you just reconfirmed I need to go get my eyebrows threaded. =)
The last time I did anything to my brows was late last year or really earlier this year, so it's been a good 6-7 MONTHS of not doing anything to it. The reason being is I got it threaded, but I didn't like the outcome (this is the 3rd time I got it done).
I love threading -- you just need to go with someone really good. The second time, I went to someone I really really really loved. So I think this time I'm going to request this same person. LOL
Mandy -- I think they go over the area your browns needs to be "cleaned". And even though your hair is blond... or no matter how tiny it is (I noticed after waxing -- I still had teeeny-eeny-bits of strays left over) the thread picks up everything! =)

I want to try threading really bad! It'd be interesting.
Plus, waxing causes premature wrinkles & nobody wants that. lol

I personally like to tweeze my brows. It's like a soothing ritual for me. But I can totally see how threading is not as harsh as waxing! Waxing my bikini and underarm areas was torture to wax, but now I use an epilator because I have less irritation and it's more convenient.

I threaded my brows and face tonight and WOW, it gets the noticeable hairs and the peach fuzz too. I looked up a video on how to do it and boy it was a lot easier than I thought it would of been.

It's been a while since I waxed, and I went against what I said earlier... but I made a terrible mistake.
Since I used acne topicals, and that wasn't relayed to my wax-er... I piece of skin was lifted off. Actually a streak of skin did... she was very sorry, and was very informative on the matter. So now I know.... so she had to pluck the other brow, from preventing the same thing from happening.
Anyway, due to my skin she mentioned tweezing and threading maybe the best form of removing hair -- especially if I am going to continue to use my topical.

Jane, just let the skin heal, and let your eye brows grow. Waxing is much worse in my eye and i really recommended threading

Threading my eyebrows and upper lip hurts just as much waxing (same tolerable level of pain) and that area still gets super red regardless if I thread or wax. But threading is definitely better for your skin than waxing.
I actually just tried threading my eyebrows myself for the first time and I loved it! I can't believe I use to pay for it, all you use is a little piece of regular thread and thats it! It's little tricky to get the way your suppose to move your hands down, but once you get the hang of it, it works so well! Save yourself some money and look it up on youtube how to do it yourself!

I love threading my brows! It's so much more convenient and less painful than waxing. I would say it hurts more than tweezing alone because threading pulls out a line of hairs at once, while tweezing pulls only one or two. But for people who go every 2 weeks, after a while it won't hurt, because you grow accustomed to it. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a trim for their brows or needs a good brow shaping :)

love threading WAY more than waxing. half the time the wax doesn't even get everything!
