I write posts regularly but most of my traffic around 90% is just people clicking on pictures on google. I have almost 200 followers and it has become clear these people aren't following my blog because they want to read it. Has anyone got any tips on how to increase traffic and get followers which will actually read your posts? Please help and also please check out my gift guides http://megansbeautyblog22.blogspot.com/

Hi Megan!
I'm pretty new at the whole beauty blogging/video tutorial thing too. What people say to do is just what you are doing! Put yourself out there on websites like beautylish. When you leave comments on other blogs, videos, etc, leave a link to your site so people can check yours out too. Interact with your subscribers and make friends. Tell your own friends and family about your blog! :) believe me...the best way to get noticed is by word of mouth.
The best "gurus" I know are ones that are genuine, honest and you can tell truely love what they do. They aren't worried about "hitting subscriber numbers". Remember the old saying "Rome was not built in a day". So just be patient and don't forget to enjoy it!! :)

Exactly what Laura said! I know its frustrating to not get comments.. believe me. Just stick with it.. I know i read others blogs but I may not leave a comment. Have fun with it tho.. you started your blog for a reason, right?
