How do you feel about it and what has it done to help you? I love the way it makes my skin so soft and how shiny/smooth my hair is when i wash my hair with it!!

When I'm shaving sensitive areas, I'll apply olive oil before anything else (if I use anything else). It REALLY cuts down on friction when shaving and results in fewer bumps.

If you like olive oil you might want to consider trying cocount oil also. It's a lot lighter than olive but gives you amazing silkiness to skin/hair. I'm obsessed.

I like to use it to make sugar and salt body scrub. Exfoliate and moisturize at the same time! Great stuff. I wanna try to get my hands on some coconut oil next.

For those allergic to olive oil there's coconut oil, as mentioned before, as well as almond oil, grape oil and lavender oil (more expensive).

I LOVE using Olive Oil! I mix it with water in a spray bottle and use it on my scalp (I have braids now and it moisturizes it soo well); I also use the oil as it is on my body when I come out the shower (it both keeps my skin super soft and my husband noticed stretch marks have started fading--SCORE!!). I also dot some of the oil on my face after I wash my face at night and rub it in. Honestly, during wintertime, I live for olive oil. Did I mention I use extra-virgin olive oil? ;)

I usually warm it up a bit, put an egg in it, mix it put it thru out all my hair, pin it up bag over it, let it sit for 40 mins wash out and gorgeous shiny hair!

olive oil is a really good hair treatment for when your ends are dry and breaking easily. it's also a good detangler.

Jennie: not if you only use a little bit and wash it out. If you shower in the morning, try putting some in at night before you go to sleep.
And I LOVE olive oil! I buy it in giant jugs and use it for everything. It's the best make-up remover and moisturizer. I like to mix it with coconut oil, grapeseed oil and a few drops of (more expensive) essential oils. It's a delightful, light moisturizer.

I love extra virgin olive oil. Starting to get into natural remedies for health. It is great for hair, skin, and I also use it to remove makeup. Removes foundation, powder, eyesshadow, mascara and eyeliner with ease.

wait, doesn't olive oil clog pores on your face? is it really OK to even use on your face after u wash Ur face rub in olive oil instead of moisturizing lotion?

I've used it to remove my makeup at night and then cleansed my skin using Clean and Clear facial wash and Clean and clear moisturizer in the morning. My skin has never felt this vibrant and I've had no breakouts which I had been dealing with as soon as I turned 31. Essential oils clog your pores. Olive oil isn't an essential oil. Try it and see the difference.

Jacqueline just remember to shake the bottle first to mix the oil and water!

If I could bathe in olive oil, I would.

Mashell: I only use this thick moisturizer on my body, not my face. But I've heard people with DRY skin can use pure extra virgin olive oil as a facial moisturizer because olive oil mimics the oil that your body naturally produces. Your skin will recognize that it's already covered and will not produce more of its own oil, which is actually better for acne.

LOL - back when I would sleep over at my BF's house and didn't have anything there I would use his olive oil to remove the eyeliner/mascara that wouldn't wash off! Works like a charm ;)
