Yes but when my nails are longer.. such a dark color makes short nails look even shorter so I usually try and stick with light colors that elongate my nails!

I agree with Alexis & Terra, but I would like to add that it's important to keep the nails short...not so short that they look like chewed off stubs, but a more grown up square/oval/squoval shape.

In the winter its awesome. But if you want to go with something even cooler, get "Black Tie" from the Diamond collection. When light hits your nails, it has deep greens and purples like a peacock feather.
