Yes, if done right. It can add an edge to an other wise non edgy outfit. You can also had simmery/glitter on top to soften the color up.

Not a fan, I usually go for more neutrally colors and pastels. I do like using black as a base for glitters like the Essie Luxe Effects polishes, in which case I would use Revlon's Lingerie. Seriously the best black polish out there! I also like to go for almost-black nails.

Looks awesome and dramatic, but I make sure to keep my nails very short and rounded when I use it otherwise I look like a witch. it pairs really well with a cool-colored outfit and one black accessory - like a black belt or black suede pumps. Looks great with gold jewelry too!

Yes, Black nail polish can be so sexy. Not necessarily if the chick is rockin' the Elvira look lol but seriously, with a little black dress or any cute outfit. I think it's chic.

My favorite dark polish is OPI Black Cherry Chutney, it's a great fall and winter color, but I wear it all the time... Also, the new color Smoke & Ashes from the China Glaze Hunger Games collection is a great black with green shimmer.
