My favorite one right now is by Giovanni. It's called the DTox Purifying Facial Scrub! It really helps get the dead skin off, and also doesn't dry my skin out, but instead actually is very moisturizing! Plus the charcoal helps to clear out pores and prevent breakouts.
I am also peeling right now due to Differin and the cold kansas air we have, so I actually use those disposable exfoliating pads you can apply your favorite cleanser to, to buff it all off once a week. Make sure to moisturize right after when your skin is wet! <3

I have always used the St. Ives apricot scrub to exfoliate my skin its worked for me, it's pretty gentle on my face. I definitely noticed I needed to moisturize my face more once the weather changed, I have been using baby oil and cocoa butter cream and so far its working!! I would try Cameron's suggestion tho, he always suggests good products! =D ( I always suggest cheap ones lol)

I'm so sorry! I try to reccomend the cheapest products that do the job! : / I hope that doesn't turn people off. I think I found the scrub at whole foods or target for like 9 dollars. I wish I could use baby oil! My skin always inflames in redness and irritation whenever I use it. : ( Sugar, and coffee are two of the greatest natural scrubs, and I especially love coffee for my skin as it tightens it! Plus most of us have it at home too. So its cost effective: ) Try those exfolating pads though!

@ Cameron I didn't mean to offend you or hurt your feelings sweety! I was just saying I always recommend pharmacy/low end products on here, it was more of me chuckling at myself! I meant it as a compliment, you are always suggesting good stuff on people's posts =]

No, your fine! Lol. I didn't take it offensively at all, I just know how annoying it is when people shove expensive product reccomendations down your throat, and I do not want people to percieve me that way or get irritated! Haha. Pleeease don't feel bad, I'm just usually very aware of myself and I was afraid I overlooked how I came across in my product recommendations.

Any exfoliators, face masks, cleansers or moisturizers with citrus in them will help brighten your skin too. I use the Philosophy microdelivery peel which is amazing for me, but it is quite harsh.
You could always make your own scrub. Theres loads of recipes out there for them, things like honey, lemon juice and sugar. =] Hope you get it sorted!
My skin is hating being in America, it's too dry and it's just freaking out. It appears to be producing excess oil so it doesn't dry out - and that's working, it's never dry and flaky, but with all the extra oil, I'm just constantly having break outs. It's so frustrating!

I have a mix between a few face washes, then either once or twice a week I also use the St. Ives apricot scrub, then after I use either one of two toners a brightening one by Boots, and one for oily skin by Clinique the day after, then I use a moisturizer. I found that my skin has looked MUCH better when I change things up so my skin doesn't get used to the same things.
