Hello! I just joined this site because I want to become a makeup artist. So, I was looking into beauty schools and the only one anywhere near me is Empire Beauty School and I'm really freaked out because it's $20,000. So, my question is has anyone gone there? I can't find any information on it that isn't from Empire themselves.

I don't know anything about Empire but I know that the Academy of Freelance Makeup is supposed to be the best, I have a book of theirs and they're really involved with lots of designers and fashion shows and stuff, they have different courses for different prices so you might want to check them out, they have a website and all, hope this was helpful x

Go to a check out a city college, you can see if they have cosmetology classes. It would be a cheaper alternative.
