Do an inverted French manicure! That's totally in right now! Do like a neutral color and let it dry then choose something complimentary-it can be a crazy color- and do the little half-moon near the top of your cuticle!

Like Terra M. suggested animal prints are simple and trendy to do on your nails. You can also use your brush to make floral patterns and even simple colorful dots if you use the reversed end of the brushes...hehe
