I see so many people doing this and it looks AWESOME! But whenever I do it on myself it looks weird. Does anyone else have this problem?
Just for your fyi: It looks even weirder when I put a peachy color instead of white, so that's kind of out of the question haha :)

Well, it probably looks better on other people because you're not used to seeing them a certain way, and it's less in focus to you. If it looks weird for you, then experiment by setting the eyeliner with different beiges to figure out what works best for you instead of going out and buying a million eyeliners. Hope this helps!

Try the white eyeliner from rimmel. It's not super opaque. Also, the shimmery white eyeliner from NYX is nice too.

I kind of have the same problem as well but then I just add a little more makeup and my eyes look fantastic ( : Maybe you should try that.

It works quite well for me! It makes you look awake, in comparison to the usual black! I also like to line my water line with nude, to make my eyes look super big and make them pop! It's a good risk to take and the result usually turn out great! I'm currently using NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk just like Kimberly M. Up above mentioned! It's a great product, and it's wonderfully affordable! :)

I have the same problem! It also gets chalky aorund my bottom eyelashes (I have loads of bottom eyelashes, the amount that most normal people have on their upper eyelashes, haha) so I've always only been able to use white on my inner corners, which works just as well to 'awaken' your eyes. I think we should both try the nude color pencil recommendations, it sounds promising!

I love it and you know you just have to play around a bit until you find a way that best suits you :)

Try Tarte's Emphaseyes Inner Rim Brightener. It's a nude color and since it's for your waterline it doesn't chalk up. I've used it for a long time and love it!

I had the same problem and I also have large eyes. I like to tight line my eyes too so it looks weird when I have white on the bottom and black on the top and it just looks funny. What I do to kind of fix this is I put silver on my water line.

Great suggestions, I was wondering the same. I put a champagney color in mine it looks nice, but I've been searching for a good liner for my tanner skin. Also, if you do this is it recommended to put black liner on your bottom lashline ? I wasn't to sure if it'd look weird or not.

You can also set the white eyeliner with a white eye shadow... it may be a little uncomfortable at first but its the only way it stays in my waterline.

Yeah I do the same as Myshel, with a champagne eyeshadow that has some shimmer, I wet the brush first it goes on smoother. And I also put white shimmery shadow just in the middle on top of the champagne and it looks really nice makes a nice effect

like everyone else has said, using a white eyeliner helps to brighten up the eyes a bit more. instead of having that harsh bright look, trying going with a peachy nude eye pencil for you waterline so that it will bring a pop of color into your eye, but it won't look so harsh when everyone looks at your eye. i recommend using a peachy nude color by Stila. It's the Stila Kajal Pencil in Topaz.
