I need a new mascara that is, ANIMAL CRUELTY FREE and GOOD. I like my lashes dramatic since I wear glasses. Thank you everyone! <3
I'm just gonna note these because they are really popular and they test on animals.
L'Oreal
Maybelline
Covergirl
Max Factor
So those are out of the question.

Fresh's Supernova Mascara is my go to mascara. It's a great glossy black color. I have puny lashes and it makes them really thick after a couple of coats. It doesn't make your lashes crispy either, they stay soft. Plus, they don't test on animals!

Do you know any cheap ones? Around 5 to 10 bucks (:

According to many sources, "L’Oréal has not used laboratory animals for the testing of its finished cosmetic products for 20 years." They stopped in 1989 (I remember that.) Even companies that claim to be 100% cruelty-free, in fact, are not, because nearly all the ingredients have been tested on animals in the past. (For the record, I was vegetarian for 12 years, so I'm not some uneducated idiot.)

@Erica...
<<Even companies that claim to be 100% cruelty-free, in fact, are not, because nearly all the ingredients have been tested on animals in the past.>>
Exactly. The only way to go truly cruelty-free would be to stop wearing makeup.
That said, the only "cruelty-free" drugstore brands I know of are Revlon (haven't tried any of their mascaras, though), Hard Candy (used one of their volumizing ones; it was okay but nothing to write home about), and e.l.f. (tried their double-ended regular/waterproof mascara; it was horrible, IMO).
I don't know about Boots No7's (available at Target), Prestige's (I think I've read some praise on here for their My Biggest Lashes mascara), NYC's, or Wet-n-Wild's policies.

thank you guys! I still don't know about L'Oreal though but I guess it's whatever. if I'm not sure I'll just stick to the ones I know for sure do not test on animals. Again, Thank you! And oh my gosh don't buy ELF mascara unless you're gonna layer it and still only buy the one with the very tiny brush. I forgot what it's called but it's nice if you layer it with some other mascara.

Forgot to note I don't know about Rimmel's policy either. In fact, it's as unclear as L'Oreal's is. (I've used Glam'eyes in their regular formula; I found it to be too wet for my liking.)

I don't think Rimmel does. or that was Revlon. I know Peta.com has a list of the companies that do and don't. So I'll check that out also! Right now I have Neutrogenas Healthy Length because I thought they didn't test but it turns out they do.

NYX, Physicians Formula and Revlon are cruelty-free and reasonably priced. I believe Almay is also on the list but I haven't used any of theirs so I can't recommend one.

Almay is owned by Revlon, so they don't do animal testing. I used to love their One Coat Mascara, but I don't know if they make it anymore.
