Hi everyone! I'm 18 and an aspiring makeup artist. I'm trying to create my MUA kit this year, but it is coming along slowly because i'm also a college student. So i'm wondering how you would recommend me to start? And what would be the best foundations to look into: airbrush, graftobian, MUFE HD, yaby? Tell me why what you use is your favorite too! Thanks in advance. (:

awesome! do you think starting off with airbrush is a good idea or should i stick to liquids, creams, and powders for now?

I would agree with Michelle but in my opinion I think that mastering the traditional methods can also be a plus since there are so many techniques to aquire the desired look. Also, @Michelle, is the finish on the Graftobian matte or silky?

i'm really leaning towards the graftobian hd cream palettes, but which one should i get, or which ones? neutral, cool, or warm?

mac face and body i used to hate but now working in a salon they stock it and i actually love it, the colours i tend to use most are n3, n5, c3 and c5 they can be mix to make different shares and they'll last you ages. The coverage is buildable from sheer to full coverage! x

I want to be a makeup artist too and after this year i'm going to beauty school to get my license. But I have a question, how you were all talking about the foundations, do they make foundation palettes in certian brands or did I read that wrong? And if you are doing weddings, prom, etc do you have to have your own foundations for each client included in your kit or do they purchase their own?

yes, they do make foundation palettes for certain brands. (: google graftobian cream foundation palette and something should come up. and for clients you should definitely have a foundation that suits them in your kit, which is why a palette is so useful.
