What are some tips for doing hair and making it look like you just came out of the salon?

If you want those loose waves some people get, you can try using a curling iron with a larger barrel. Turn it upside down and wrap the ends of your hair around it. For me this results in beautiful loose waves and some added volume. You can use some shine spray to give it that extra bit of finish. Hope this helps!

You could also round brush just the ends of your hair. You could do this after your hair is dry. Another big thing is to use professional products. Also next time you go to a salon ask them. If your hair is real silky you could use a sea salt spray to give it more texture.

Thanks a lot! Is it worth trying to tease me roots in some areas?

If you wanted volume teasing at the roots will help bump it up. While teasing, it helps to count how many time you backcomb each area to make sure its even. You could also lightly tease the hair shaft to make it more manipulable. What kind of challenges do you use when you style your hair?
