In the world of beauty and makeup I don't hear a lot of talk about lancome. I heard that photgenic was awesome and how they are waaay ahead in the fashion industry. what we deem as popular lancome had already started some 11yrs ago. I invite your opinion because I would like to try their products.

i never noticed that until i read your post it true. i work in a department store i don't see anybody go crazy over lancome. i think the reason lancome's sales have been up cause of michelle phan but i love their matte lipsticks i haven't tried anything else but their lipsticks and their mascara

They have wonderful skincare - Genefique is a serum to boost your "youthful radiance" and it really does! I need far less makeup. They are are coming out with a 24 hour foundation Tient Idole 24H and I got to sample it - it is so smooth and mattifying and it LASTS.
Mascara - the Occillation formula is too die for, the rest you can find a drugstore equivalent
Eyeshadows - thier 5-pan are PACKED with pigment, but you have to know how to apply it or you will hate it! No windshield whiper business you need a base and you need to pat it on, and the color selections are LOVELY!
Aquatique - hidden gem! Their eyeshadow base lasts FOREVER and is my fav compared to UDPP or too faced by far.
Lipsticks - the new Rouge in love lipsticks are long lasting but kinda dry (good color choices) The Absolue Rouge is so creamy and moisturing and LASTS, but it's $29.50 so you better LOVE the color to death.
Eye liners - Le Khol pencils are awesome! Totally blendable but stay put! And they have white! But my fav is Black Coffee a seriously dark brown that works on sooooo many skin tones, haven't met anyone who tried it who didn't like it.
They have Gel liners again - fun colors, I like Bobbi Brown better for long wearing.
They don't have a good concealer :(
I actually REMEBER some of the colors I bought 11 years ago at Lancome - bright blue, yellow and pink eyeshadow (very now if you ask me!)
That's my 2 1/2 cents :)

i guess i might be a little biased since i work at a lancome counter, but i can honestly say i liked Lancome before i started working for them. i love the heck out of the Rouge In Love lipsticks(and that is big for me considering i hate the vast majority of lipsticks) and i'm super excited about the Teint Idole 24h too. not only is the formula going to be improved, they are also expanding the shade range to include more colors for WOC. i do also enjoy the skincare too. some of my favorites are Bright Expert (which is like clinique's dark spot corrector and came out way before) and the bienfait line of moisturizers (multivital and aquavital). in any case i do hope you'll stop by your local lancome counter and explore a bit. i think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you find. happy hunting : )

I've been a Lancome fan for years. As far as skin care, the only product I will even use on my face is their Creme Radiance. I have pretty sensitive skin and that stuff is wonderful.
As far as makeup, their Teint Miracle Foundation (Bisque 2 to be exact!) is the only foundation I will use. Same goes for their Definicils High Volume Mascara. They're 2 make-up products I can't live without (though I do want to try Ocillation Mascara).
