Hi, I'm currently living in Alberta, Canada but have been planning on moving to British Columbia in order to go for school for make up artistry. I've been accepted into John casablancas in Vancouver but also looked at blanc mcdonalds. Anyone with any advice, experiences with either of these schools or any other ones would be appreciated.

i'm planning on applying to Complections, which is an international makeup artistry school based in Toronto, once I've finished my bachelors. From what I've heard of that program it's really great. I'm so excited.

I am also interested in Blanc Mcdonalds for their Global Make-up course. It seems amazing and perfect for the intense Stage and Special effect make-up. I talked to a few of the teachers and they are so wonderful and friendly. Once I grad from Esthetics and Spa Therapy school I'll be heading to the big city!! (I live on Vancouver Island)

Chrissy & I actually have a friend who went to our school but now goes to Blanch. It is an amazing school & I actually do plan on going there and to Complections in Toronto as well, in the future :) I would get info on that school & talk to them because they are a pretty awesome!
--I was actually accepted into Complections but had to move to Vancouver Island sadly :(

Aveda's Vancouver hair school (http://www.avedainstitute.ca/vancouver/) deserves a mention, my friend Taylor studied there and now he's a six-figure stylist in Van. They teach makeup, too! They are also holding a hair school scholarship video contest (http://www.avedainstitute.ca/scholarship/). Submit a video that explains why you were 'Born to Style' and you could win your ENTIRE TUITION to one of five Aveda Institutes Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria and Winnipeg (worth over $10,000)!
