Hey ladies! Ok, so I need some recommendations on foundations (preferably less than $35). I am currently using the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, and its definitely not helping my dry skin, if not even making it drier. I have fairly sensitive skin, and I am of a VERY fair complexion, so it is hard to find a foundation that actually matches my skin color. I would prefer it to be cheaper... any recommendations? :)) xoxo

Revlon colourstay (i believe thats what its called) do some foundations for different skin types. I used Revlon photoready and really like the application and staying power. But it did find i got dry skin. However that was more to my lifestyle and weather at that time rather then from the foundation itself. Although i would also of suggested adding slight moisterizer into the foundation. Revlon also now do an airbrush mousse which i have heard many good things about. I would deffinatly recommend revlon photo ready foundation. And i have it in ivory because i have a fair complextion also.
I would say though, if you intend to use moistorizor with it - you might need to go a shade darker in colour depending on the moisterizor you use, it might pale the colour slightly. HTH

I know how you feel! I'm super pale too and don't have the money to be buying high end foundations, trouble is, drugstores seem to forget that pale people exist! >_< I've been hunting around, I've found that the only good foundations in my skin tone that cover, hydrate and last are:
Max Factor colour adapt
L'oreal true match
Revlon colourstay
Jackie Oates (from Lush! It sounds crazy but it's one of my favourite foundations ever! You have to try it!)

For dry skin, I've been using the CoverGirl Aqua Smoothers, they have moisturizer and they also come in a good range of shades - they're a good price for a drug store foundation and the coverage isn't quite complete coverage but I love them, especially in winter when I get dry patches!

Well, I just had a major skin resurfacing procedure that left me with unbearly dry skin and the only foundation that I can use and not have make me look drier or spotty is the Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation. I apply it ONLY with a beauty blender sponge in a stippling motion. This gives the most flawless application and the texture of the foundation gives the most beautiful looks. It is amazing. The only issue is the price, $42 bucks! A little goes a very long way so you get a lot more value for your money. I suggest getting a few samples from your Laura Mercier counter or go to Sephora (they have LM products). That is what I did and I am SO happy. Good Luck! (also, look into Paulas Choice skin care to help your skin. It is AMAZING!!!)
