Yes I have had plenty of bad ones. A lot of the time when I am running around doing errands picking up makeup I do not have makeup on and not wearing heels. The last bad experience I had was at the MAC pro store in NYC. I was out and about all day and that was my last stop. I knew exactly what I wanted and wanted to swatch some things. I walked in and employees looked at me up and down and did not say a word. A group of girls walked in and couldnt be more that 17 years old and they scattered to help them. I tried getting attention and they were all too busy. Right when I said forget it and was going to walk out the manager approached me and asked if I needed help and I said yes for the past half hour. While the girls did not buy anything and just walked out the door the manager was ringing all my stuff up and everyone else stared. That was the last time I went there and it was exactly a year ago.

The staff at my local MAC counter in the UK are always lovely! Shame you've had bad experiences!

Normally the Mac artists are very nice to me as well because they know me., but some of the new ones are very rude and stuck up. I think it's rare to find a friendly make up artist at Mac.

The only place that I have had good encounters are with the staff in Rooseveltfield mall in Long Island NY. I was a regular there until I moved : (

I've had nothing but negative experiences at the MAC stores in my area (FL) but when I was living back home in Cali I had nothing but rave reviews for the artists. If there is something that I really, really want I usually send in the hubby to get it so I can avoid the stress.

I've always had pretty good trips to MAC in my area, until last night. I went with a friend to show her the new blushes that I was looking at and asked a MAC girl if they had the new match master foundation. I commented that I wore pro long wear right now she asked me why I was wear pro long wear because my skin didn't look oily (meanwhile she looked like an oil slick) It just rubbed me the wrong way because she was trying to tell me I didn't really know my skin and that I must have thought it was more oily then it really is.
This won't stop me from go there again but next time I'll make sure my friend is working so I can only deal with her!

ive had good and bad, but i think all the good we're becuase a girl knew me or knew a friend of mine, i have has terrible times tho i went to one and i asked to see a brush to buy it the girl rolled her eyes and said "why you cant afford it" note i havent seen that girl there since, but still not a goodsales person or person in general. i think mac is the top of Name brand cosmetics (thats well known that is) and people let it go to their heads. :/ kinda said cuz aside from meany additudes some are really talented

I feels sorry that some for you guys who have bad experinces, but the make up artist where i buy my mac products ae really nice. Some time they seem surprise to find out that i know more about the products than themselves, and usually the make up artist in the store always are sweet to complement my make up.I only have good things to say about mac ;)
