Very nice Ruth!

I like silver and gold with green liner, or a combination of different shades of greens or bronzes.

A blackberry shimmer with a matte black.

All of these great ideas, guys start posting pics. I am so not good with mixing colors. I stay safe with neutral colors.

I'm the same with red shadows they make my eyes look swollen but you could always go with a Red lipstick ;)
I like nude browns, Gold/ silver, Gold/ sliver glitter (especially adding lots of glitter) even white to make the colors pop. But it really depends on the outfit your planning to wear. I just saw a tutorial that used purple, silver & silver glitter, a little bit of black and some white for a holiday look. It looked great because the girl was wearing a purple dress for Christmas. You don't have to do the traditional red & green =)

I actually did a look using red and green and it turned out pretty good, I don't normally use those colours together but I wanted to do something really dramatic. But I love green and gold together around Christmas.

i always go for simple, neutral looks on the eyes, but a bit of a mix of either a golden tan shimmery base layer and extend it out with a matte light/medium brown, or a shimmery "penny" pink on the lid with a frosty white in the inner corner blended together and finished off with a grey smokey blended out. thin line of liquid eyeliner on the top of the lids and some simple corner lashes and a few layers of mascara :) simple but twisted up with a edge :)

i agree with Terra i love a shimmery gold with a dark brown in the crease either black or brown liner depending on how dramatic you want it to look and then a nice red lip....perfect as well as classic holiday look

My Favorite so far was xteeners holiday look it was sort of like a teal with gray and silver http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8cJEi4ot54&list=LLhVLhLXkonT41JtXoplC_5Q&feature=mh_lolz

I love the teal the most! or a olive/gold smokey eye seems nice wherever you go.

Greens and golds. I am working on my Christmas day look. Not sure if I want to go with a natural look with red lips or a beautiful combo of greens and natural lips with a lil pink blush on the high points of the cheeks near the green to set it all off. I saw the green and pink in a Sephora Christmas a few years ago and it is fierce.

My personal holiday makeup favorite is a bit of gold, shimmery green, and dark green on the eyes with a peachy/brown cream blush, and a pinky nude lip! So beautiful together--this photo doesn't even do it any justice :-(

And don't forget some wispy lashes to make those eyes pop!

@Theresa T. Thanks! Those sound like a great combination! Post pics asap--would love to see what you did! I subbed you on youtube too! Check out my channel sometime!

I really like a metallic silver with matte teal and a velvet charcoal grey with a shimmery white for highlighting.
