What's the best way to prevent my polish from peeling? I've tried a variety of different base coats, top coats, high end polishes, etc, etc. Doesn't matter,
they chip or peel within a day.

Do you buff your nails first?

How are you applying the polish? (As in, are you waiting until one coat is completely dry before applying another?)

Not completely dry. Only about as dry as it gets in the time it takes me to complete one hand. Should it be completely dry between coats?

i find that if i apply thinner coats and wrap my tips it really helps. mine peel a lot too, i think i may have oily nails (yes that exists lol). and since i've been buffing them it has made a difference. try thin coats of polish, wrapping the tip upon the first coat, don't flood the cuticle and a thin coat of top coat. should make a difference.

Buff your nails then apply some polish remover to dehydrate the nail. Next apply thin coats of polish no more then 2, and don't forget the free edge (tip) of your nail. Then apply a thin coat of topcoat. (Favorite is Seche Vite) wait about 10 minuets before each coat so that they each dry well, and avoid touching water for several hours like about 10 or more, specially hot water or steam. :) (also glitter polishes tend to last longer on nails) hope this helps :)

Thanks for sharing. I'll try that vinegar trick.
