Viktoriyaa I. yea, some elf products arent the best, especially for their intended uses lol i tried the highlighter as a primer and it works great!

i use claudia stevens from sallys it 4.99... also the elf is very good. sephora had a small pot of there primer for 8 $ also, i have oilly lids so revlon cream shadows and nyx jumbo eye pencils i always use a base under
hopefully this helps :)
