I've been obsessed with my L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Balm in Nourishing Nude and Coral. I've heard such great things about Revlon's Lip Butters so I picked up one in Creme Brulee.
Have you tried either? Which do you prefer and why? :-)

Revlon Lip Butters > L'Oreal Colour Riche Lip Balm. The L'Oreal ones are too sheer and at least Revlon's have some type of pigmentation.

I love the lip butters! They're on their way to completely replacing lipsticks for me. I've seen swatches of the Lip Balms and I'm not impressed, the colors aren't that opaque, and I figure if I want just a sheer wash of color, I'll go for the Maybelline Baby Lips, which are half the price of the Balm.

I haven't tried either of them. But I have heard a lot of positive things for the Revlon Lip Butters.

L'Oreal is way too sheer....pigmentation is pratically non-existent. The Revlon Lip Butters....pigmentation is much better and you get more product for your money. I found with both I had to keep applying quite often during the day. This is great for those days when you're hitting the gym and need something light on your lips.

I love the lip butters but also love the l'oreal ones. the great thing about the l'oreal ones to me is the smell - def. a vanilla smell to the l'oreals. i do like the revlon better though because they are more pigmented with more color selection

Thanks for the feedback, ladies. If I collect anything it's lip products, lol. While I love my high end lip stuff, I can't go into any drugstore/Target without coming out with something for my lippies.
I really like how moisturizing the L'Oreal Lip Balms feel but I can definitely see there's more pigmentation in the Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle I picked up.

I looovvveee the Revlon Lip Butters.
I own 12 of the shades and still want more.
I love the texture of them, the finish, the color range, and the pigmentation.
Regular lipsticks like to accentuate the lines in my lips, but since the lip butter texture is so awesome, it doesn't make them as noticeable.
The L'Oreal Balms feel great, but I wish they had more color and didn't slide right off my lips.
