Alright ladies, I need your help. I'm not sure if there are other discussions about this roaming around somewhere on here, but I just know that I need some advice.
I've been getting gel polish on my nails all the time now by the woman who does my nails at my favorite salon. The gel polish stays for literally weeks on end, but my nails still break. I thought the gel polish might be a good guard for my fragile nails.
I brought this to my nail lady's attention, and she suggested I stock up on cuticle oil. What are some easy-to-find cuticle oils I could try?
I'm pretty desperate at this point. My nails grow super-fast, but within such a little time, I notice that one side has broken off or is starting to crack.
Another question, is there any way, once your nail has a thin crack in it, to save the nail? I assume once the nail has cracked that it has separated from it and the nail will just start repairing itself and growing underneath the broken nail, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
THANK YOU!

I had acrylic for years and wanted to grow out my own nails. I used nail tek to help repair my nails and if you just want to save a nail Orly has a rescue repair kit. It is called nail rescue and you can get it for 5-10 dollars at a drugstore that sells Orly or your local beauty salon
