MOst products I have tried from cover girl has not worked out too well for me. The only product from them that I somewhat enjoy is their lashblast. Other than that, NYC was terrible.

wow so many people hate covergirl! I still think they make the best mascara, lashblast.
Most of the products that the drugstore brands advertise like crazy never really deliver what they promise.
one brand i will never try again is bourjois, there products are terrible and somewhat over priced for a drug store brand.

Honestly, I don't know what it is, but L'oreal seems like such an 'old lady' brand to me. Walking in their section, nothing excited me. Ever. I've only ever enjoyed one of their HIP duos, and they discontinued it!
Same with almay, nothing excites me there. I tried one of their eyeshadows once and it was hardly even visable!

maybelline, covergirl, and some of nyc stuff..their foundations be too oily, dont cover spots or too cakey. Really not worth your money. But far as mascaras and eyeshadows is good with the right eye primer like e.l.f or urban decay

Covergirl sucks...all of it. Maybelline too except for the new Color Tattoo cream eyeshadows. I use them as bases.

i HATE covergirl and arent suprised at all that so many other people hate it too. but i actually am suprised that so many people are saying maybelline! they are my go to drugstore brand, everything from them has worked really well on me. im suprised to see other people disagree so much. but i dont think you can get very much worse than covergirl, haha

I have had bad luck ELF aside from their brushes and that facial whip stuff they continue to disappoint me. I m not much a fan of LA Colors either but to be fair I bought their eye shadow from the dollar tree!

Almay, everything of theirs has caused breakouts and when i stupidly tried a mascara, a full blow alergic reaction! Couldn't fully open my eyes for two days all because of poor quality formula and incomplete ingredient listings!

I agree with a lot of you . The worst brands in my opinion would be - covergirl , nyc, nyx ,revlon, LA colors,elf , WET N WILED (eww) . The rest are okay .. idk alot of people like nyx but with my experience with wrong shipping/late shipping , product eye shadow cracking and breaking . Covergirl is no words terrible . NYC never works terrible'r too . :( I like more so high end it is more pigmented and works like a charm but what do you guys think?

Covergirl is the worst I've tried. I feel like nothing in their entire range grabs me at all, and the things I have tried (foundation, eyeshadows, lipstick) have been poor in quality/pigmentation/formulation.
Also avoid NYC nail polish at all costs. Yuckyuckyuck.

I agree with these comments. Definitely e.l.f. I tried their shadows, very low pigmented as well as their glosses, ew. Also im not a fan of covergirl, LA colors or revlon

I really, really don't like RIMMEL, I'm always disapointed with them, oh and I think I have to mention the ELF lash glue too . But appart from that I think every brand has it's up and down and there's no other brand I truly dislike I guess, at least nothing that comes to my mind right now .

Covergirl eyeshadows are a hit and miss for me! some arent even pigmented :( BUT Lashblast fusion mascara is my go to mascara :)
Rimmel eyeliners...are no good. same with their mascara. didnt do anything for my lashes.
Bare Minerals Sucks.
NYC & WNW are hit and misses too. but i find myself with more hits with WNW and more misses with NYC.

I pretty much hate all drugstore brands and as for smashbox i normally don't like em, but my husband just got me their latest palette & it is sooo much better! They re-did their shadows and no longer have fallout & have pigmentation. All in all with this last palette no complaints.
