i am consistently disappointed with smashbox. i don't know what it is about this brand, but their make up just does not work for me. their gel liners, for the price always dries up. their eyeshadows are chalky and their primer creases. this brand is raved about for various reasons, but it just pales in comparison to nars, urban decay, stila and too faced.

I will agree with Denise and say Smashbox. WAY overpriced and everything I've ever purchased has been "Ehhh" at best.

I have had a few good Smashbox blushes, but most everything else Smashbox I have thrown away. They also splash the Leaping Bunny head all over their products, which I disagree with, bc they are owned by a company that tests. But I am vegan, so I am aware that its just my two cents on the last part.

@Freddie B. Covergirl tests, and isn't certified Leaping Bunny. Under leaingbunny.com and happycow.net it is listed as companies to boycott. The reason Ellen gets scandal for her selling of the product is that she is vegan, and is an advocate for the lifestyle, as her show depicts. Yet she is the face of CG.

Tbh, I don't care if a brand animal test honestly if they don't it's an extra perk but quite a few brands animal test and choosing not to purchase from them could limit my options which at this time I am not prepared to do. However, I could see why it would be an issue for some. Over all there are a lot of different brands out there and they all have hits or misses I actually LOVE CoverGirl lipsticks! It's just about what works for you! :)

I just love that everyone hates covergirl as much as I do. I've bought things from them that literally don't do anything. Like, compacts where the powder won't even come up on a brush. I've tried to get my mom to switch off from them but she's been using cg for years.

Up until today I've always heard such great things about CoverGirl, especially their Natureluxe foundation... so I guess that means it isn't all that great?

Wet and Wild eye palettes are the bomb. You can get them at any pharmacy for a reasonable price and its good quality. I agree that Covergirl is not the best of brands...

Leaping on the 'covergirl sucks' wagon. If it isn't completely useless, it has a terrible smell. Hate everything I've ever tried by them. And adding up all the things I've tried in my head, I'm pretty angry at myself for spending that much $ on them!

LA Colors, ELF, and The Color Workshop are the worst products I have ever used. Horrible pigmentation and the LA colors palette I had smelled like cheap baby powder. Egh. Best ones I tried, Loreal HIP, Wet-n-wild, Ruby Kisses (please try their HD gel liners, highlighter/bronzers, and eyeshadow primer!), BH cosmetics.

COLOR WORKSHOP has to be the crappiest brand ever! Whenever I would ask for eyeshadow palettes fro Christmas that is what my mom would get for me =[ they are so chalky and remind me of little kid makeup!!

Also I think most products from CoverGirl sucks with the exception of the Lip Perfection lipsticks
I am also not a fan of Rimmel London, I refuse to buy their shadows after getting about four palette that all were chalky with no color payoff.
