You could try engaging more with people. Try getting to know your followers. But unfortunately there are a lot of people who stat following someone thinking they will get a Follow for follow. Think of it this way there are 5 people out there who really dig who you are and what you do.

I agree with Hopey people tend to get busy. I know I neglected my blog and the blogs I follow around the holidays because I was just so busy. Now I'm making it a habit to go back to the blogs I like and make sure I comment and check up on them. I think making sure you check back with the people who are commenting on your blogs by going to theirs and checking out their work is a great way to network and make friends.

you can talk to me :) you're not doing anything wrong...I try talking to people and they only reply sometimes....I really want to make friends on youtube and not just have people use me for a subscription. :-/ the people that just want to use me for sub for sub end up unsubscribing so at least I know who the real susbscribers are :) I may only have 249 but they are the ones who actually enjoy my channel :) add me on twitter and fb andrew :)

What makes me a die-hard fan and avid supporter of a blogger and YTuber is when they make an effort to respond to me when I post a question or give them props. It doesn't have to be a constant thing because I understand that they too have a life outside of what they are doing. But if I follow someone for 6 months + and they never seem to respond to me accept for a select few then I usually click unfollow. Especially if I notice that they don't respond to anyone then I jump ship. I don't care how great their site is. Its all about maintaining relationships and making each person feel valued. It doesn't take much....a simple thank you works wonders to maintain a fan base. I had no idea that you had a blog and we follow eachother on Beautylish. :) I will check out your blog and YT.
