I have large eyes & large eye sockets, which used to get me compliments. As I've gotten a bit older & thinner (43) my under-eye circles have started looking like someone applied them in a makeup session to make me look like a victim of abuse or starvation or something. I've tried SO MANY products, try to eat healthy (no wheat or sugar) & live healthy but I have major stress levels that are beyond my control right now.
Anybody got any advice for "shiner eyes"?

I noticed that when I'm short on sleep my undereye shadows come up looking very dark and just plain horrible. I started using Bobbi Brown Corrector before applying her eye concealer and setting powder and it works wonders for me. If you wish to sample this I highly suggest going to an actual Bobbi Brown counter. I was color printed incorrectly for this at Sephora and had to find a BB counter to get the correct shade. It has made a huge difference. Sometimes we can do all the right things....like eating right but there is nothing wrong with getting a little help from the make-up fairies. :)

Drink lots of water will help tremendously but things I have found to help mine are. Brew a tea bag freeze it and then set it on your eye the coldness will help any puffiness and the caffeine will help the dark circles. Also I found a great under eye roller at Sally's beauty supple it's by the company frutique and it's a caffeine under eye roller

I use the Garnier Under Eye Roller. It works really well to brighten it up some, but does not hide them completely. Makes sure you're drinking enough water! Dehydration makes them worse.

I would try Bremann Research Labs- "Hylexin" eye treatment. This shouldn't take the place of your eye cream but serve much rather as a treatment serum to be applied before an eye cream. As an eye cream I would try Murad Essential-C eye cream because it has an SPF 15, aids in brightening dark circles while giving you anti-aging benefits too.
In regards to makeup-I would try a corrector first then a concealer. Josie Maran has a duo that comes in a little compact that costs less than $30 for the corrector and concealer! 80) It contains Argan OIl in it too.
