I really need a distraction. Something really dud happened with a guy I was... well, I don't even know, we weren't like 'dating'... But whatever.
Anyways. I just can't stop beating myself up thinking it was me who did something wrong, when in fact I don't know anything.
I just need to get my mind off it but I don't know how! If I'm doing something, I'm okay, but in the evenings I don't do much, just chill with the tv or internet.
It's really eating me up inside. >___<

Don't let it bring ya down. There are way too many other fish in the sea than to get down about this disappointment. I do know the feeling because I was once there...more than once so I feel your pain. To get out of your rut just distract yourself with what you love....make-up. His loss is another one's gain. Keep your head up girl.

Thanks Shelley. Even though it's (once again!) put me off any kind of romance, I kind of hope I'm lucky enough to find a date when I get back to NZ, just to really help me move forward, you know.

I keep wanting to text him and just say like, look you're obviously mad but could you at least have the decency to tell me what happened? but I just know he won't reply.
That is a bad idea right? ... or should I? ... Erjkasfhasda. >_<

Don't text him! Its the worst thing you can do, the best way to go about it is just wait it out and if he doesn't call or text then its his loss. I've been in a few situations like this myself and the main thing I regret is texting him asking what was wrong. Just be strong and ride it out. Trust me when you look back on it you will think "Damn I'm glad I didn't text him" :) <3

It's really stupid that I care so much and that I keep thinking about texting him. I'm leaving this country in a couple of weeks and will probably never see him again. If he hadn't gone all weird we may have stayed friends after I'd left but you know.
URRRGH. Stupid boy situations. >____<
But thanks Ashley. I need you lovelies to keep reminding me these things haha. If I have no one, I will fall apart and it'll be messy. I'd text him and all sorts.

Trust me I completely understand wanting to get that closure and figure out why and what went wrong. I've been there a time or two and actually during a situation like this I talked to said person after the fact and he said the reason why he never texted back was because I was being needy and he hated that. So lesson learned once I heard that I was NEVER the one to text ever lol
I think its just something we all go through in life certain people just don't mesh well but we all move on from points like these. Just don't sweat it! Your fabulous and strong don't forget it!

This just won't leave my brain. >_<

I know how you feel, I'm a dweller on occasions. But I literally have to stop myself. and you have to make a point of stopping yourself as far as thinking about him and the situation. Don't worry about what happened, just know that hes acting poorly, and it bothers you. Be glad you didn't put more time into that relationship and know that you need to work on not worrying about something you may not even have done wrong. Maybe this is just something he does and it has nothing to do with you, or anything you did at all. There have been times when I made myself basically sick with anxiety over this and that and really.. over dwelling on something you just need to learn to let go of. Enjoy the good times you had, nothing has to change that, and just focus on positive things, surrounding yourself with positive people and good attitudes and moving forward. Besides at the end of the day, you really don't need anyone around who makes you feel like YOU did something wrong.

If I were you I'd just do whatever it is I felt like doing. Text him? Why not! Call and leave a voicemail about how he left you confused and that you think he's a jerk? Even BETTER! Say EVERYTHING. Because really, he's already showing you that he's not interested or he'd be the one texting/calling. And the thing is, you were probably "your most perfect self" around him (which, by the way, might be part of the problem). Or hey, maybe you were just au naturelle around him- laid back yet smart, the perfect mix of girl next door and sexiness- and totally lovable- and still he's not interested. And you just can't get why he's not calling??????
P.S. All those scenerios that you're playing in your head about why he's not (grandma in the hospital maybe? a monkey escaped from the zoo and stole his phone????) aren't likely. If a man/boy/whatever is interested, he will let you know. He's going to call/text. He's going to want to know what's going on with you. And most importantly, he's going to make plans with you for as soon as possible- mostly so no one else can.
Trust me when I say I'm not trying to be a b*tch here by pointning this out. The thing is, I've dealt with a little bit of it myself. But the real thing of it is, you should do what feels natural to you instead of trying to play "the game." The game is over. The game was over when he decided something/someone else was more interesting than you. It sucks so bad and no one wants to be rejected, but that's just how it goes sometimes.
But the difference is this- whatever I feel like doing in order to get it out of my system? I'll do it. Thankfully for me that doesn't include anything resembling legal stalking... but I WILL text. I WILL say "HEY- I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING, umm... so what happened?" Because I truly believe guys should at least have the decency to express to you that they are no longer interested. The disappearing act, while LOUD AND CLEAR, is lame and immature.
So long story short- MAKE HIM ACCOUNTABLE. You may never really find out the real reason why he lost interest but the fact is, he has. You deserve to at least try to find out why. What's the worst that's going to happen... you won't hear from him?? Well, that's probably what's going to happen anyways, so you've got nothin' to lose!

Cloesr to new years I text him and asked if I'd done anything and said I thought we were having fun, but yeah... no reply. X(
gah. it's all so stupid haha.
I've tried, from my end, but yeah if he's not even gonna be a decent enough guy to just say like 'sorry, it's not gonna work out' ... then, screw him! Right?
I don't know anyone else where I live, except my mum, so I've got no friends to hang out with here but I have a friend who's been texting me things that have been helping and I'm just focusing on getting back home in a few weeks and seeing all my other friends.
Thanks, all of you, for your help and support. <3 It really means a lot that you guys, practically complete strangers, care enough just to give me some words of advice and encouragement. =] Really appreciate it!
I keep hearing as well 'The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else' ... haha.
Hopefully I can find a date when I get back home :P

You put yourself out there! Good for you! And now (even though he's clearly a moron who does not seem to grasp how rare it is to have the affections of a gorgeous and obviously sweet person) you don't have to be left wondering. It is confirmed- he's not that great of a guy.. or he would have responded. So this is a good thing!! Now you can move on to someone that's dying to text you back.
Get right out there and find someone else to forget about this guy with. I'm sure i'll be easy for you : )

Anneka F. You are not going to think about him tonight. You will think about all the new adventures you have to look forward to once you're settled in NZ. As I mentioned earlier there is so many more fish in the sea. You're too beautiful to give this guy any more thought. :)
