a lot of people spend their sunday infront of the tv watching football.

i spend my sunday going through the newspapers for sales, coupons, etc. (:

like...did you know all Revlon is 40% off at walgreens this week? kmart (i'm not sure how big of a chain it is) has l'oreal telescopic on sale for $5.99! (exciting for me cos i want to try it)
CVS is running a deal this week where you can end up getting up to 6 Revlon lippies for $1.49/each!


i'm always in the sunday paper, checking for sales. sometimes i find at places like meijer & kmart sometimes have better deals on beauty than drugstores do. i know kmart does 50% off wet n wild a lot more than i see it at the drugstores.

i've posted about her on here before, but i LOVE nouveaucheap by G. she posts the weekly sales...usually every saturday & she'll tell you how to get the best out of your coupons. she also posts links to printable coupons, free samples, etc.
(she didn't ask me to talk about her, i rarely even comment on her blogs, i just things it's one of the most helpful blogs out there.)


anyone other beautylishers like me? ^_^ have you already beat me to the stores?! i'd love to know what you purchased & how much you saved! i hope your sunday is full of coupons & cupcakes...because they make papercuts better!!

I get a lot of make-up at Kmart! But, it helps that I work there.. haha, I know about the sales in advance :) I cut a bunch of coupons this morning, super excited to use them! Lol, I'm trying to start buying more drugstore make-up..easier on my bank account.

yes andrea!!! i worked at CVS for five years so i always actually got to put the markdown stickers on the make up. there would be the pile that is going out to the shelves & the "ashley" pile, haha. one of my best deals was a bunch of the l'oreal hip duos i got for 90% off (paid .69 cents for each one). i swear it was the best job ever!

yes drugstore make up is what i mostly use. 90% of my high end products i've bought on sale even! haha. hautelook has urban decay on there a lot, plus they had a sale on ud.com i recently hit up. i think UD's naked palette one of the few i've paid retail for!

I love the HIP duos. I got a bunch of them on super clearance at Target a few months ago. Love them! :) But, drugstore make-up is definitely my thing right now. I have a horrible habit of going into Sephora and buying something every single time. So, no more of that because my laptop is about to go to laptop heaven! Gotta save some money for a new one.

I saw in the Walgreens ad that a bunch of brands were Buy One Get One half off, so def gonna check that out

see andrea i don't even go for the buy one get one half off's a lot, unless there's a product i really want to try, then i even it out by buying like an eyeshadow or something so the shadow ends up being like 2 bucks. i'm so cheap haha. i like buy one get one free sales! i guess i go for the half off if the store is running a special where you get RR/EB's back.
