I have tried various Revlon Curlers and they all have died/broken on me. I would not recommend those at all. If you are worried about heat damage you can try a product called Curlformers from what I have seen they curl your hair well and they are simple to use I plan on getting some. There are various tutorials on youtube. I plan on getting this 'knock off' version as it is rather inexpensive.

i had conair hot rollers and they were nice but i didn't feel like i had full control of my curls. i have a conair (i think, i barely use it) curling iron and i do love it, it gives a nice curl. i'd get a straightener if you want to do a small curl at the end or wave your hair but a curler if you want defined curls

I like the Conair Curling Irons, I have used them my whole life. They are a good price and last pretty long. As for a flat iron, I like the Original black CHI flat iron. That's the one I use in the salon when I am doing hair.

Honestly, I love the NuMe Style Curling Wands that are clip less. They are tourmaline infused so they prevent damage to your hair and you can curl your whole head in 15 minutes.

They also just came out with a set that has 4 barrel sizes which seriously looks amazing!
