I've been using the Maybelline One By One mascara, but i'm not a big fan, i feel it makes my lashes look a bit clumpy.
What are some good, affordable mascaras?
I live in the UK, so something that i could get in a drugstore here.

I am a fan of Maybelline's Full and Soft mascara it does what the name implies full yet soft lashes. It makes your lashes look fuller and won't clump or make them look stiff. It works great if you like to apply various coats.
I am not sure if you can purchase Physicians Formula but if you can their shimmer strips custom eye enhancing duo (it has a colored mascara on the other end) is also one of my favorites. Good luck! :D

My all time favorite mascara is Maybelline The Colossal express. I feel that it gives me volume and length. Formula is not too wet or dry. Love it!

I've had great experience with Rimmel mascara and I think you should be able to get it there in the UK.

If u don't like the clumpy look but like full lashes, then definitely L'Oreal volume million lashes.
My favorites are, Rimmel lash accelerator (oh my, how it made my short thin lashes LONG LONG LONG. it really works if u use it for a whole month or a bit more), maybelline falsies and the colossal volume. And of course, Rimmel sexy curves.
Tip: to avoid the clumpy look, brush ur lashes with mascara very close 2 the roots all the way 2 the end (while wiggling the wand a bit) AND wait for a couple of seconds till the first coat of mascara is half dry they apply again, then 1/2 dry, then apply again until u reach the fullness that u want. I usually use 2 types of mascara, one for lengthening (Rimmel accelerator, or sexy curves) then 3 coats of a thickening one (any of the maybelline ones I mentioned)
I hope I helped a little and I know it's a long post :D

My absolute favorite is the Covergirl Lash blast mascara. I also love the Revlon Grow Luscious mascara, the brush is an exact dupe of the Benefit bad gal mascara but the formula of the Revlon mascara is so much better, in my opinion. I layer those two everyday and it makes the perfect combination for my lashes!
