Everyone tells me I have perfect skin, makeup, eyebrows... and I tell them I do not. Nobody is perfect. Yet we are all perfect. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think we are all beautiful. I just wanted to post on here the face behind the cosmetics. I think some of you should do the same too. It would be fun!

I've been dealing with severe acne my whole pre-teen/teenage/& adult life so far - there is no way I'm posting a bare face photo! XD

I saw it yesterday and knew I HAD to post on here. So I did my makeup one one side of my face today... I even did it on my best side, so all of the gross stuff on the opposite side is showing! I didn't edit my photo either. Just cropped it.
@Smashley I agree. I don't like some of my features either, but I wouldn't change them. They are what make me... me! :D

When I see my face I have some hyperpigmentation, large pores and wrinkles.

@Amymay WOW, you have amazing grey eyes! Very striking.
@Twizzie you still have great skin without foundation and I used to have the same eyebrows last year. Luckily after 18 years of tweezing, I was able to grow them back so my classmates wouldn't give me sharpie brows anymore. :D

Haha! Thank you! My dumb self shaved my brows off when I was 11 (and I am now 17) and they have yet to fully grow back...I mean, I clean them up (random hairs here and there) but that's all there is for me :(
I think you look gorgeous with, and without makeup. I am all excited due to you responding to this. >.< lol!

@Twizzie Thank you! It was a fantastic idea, I really enjoyed seeing the contrast between the halves. BTW, you can draw an awesome brow! I sometimes miss having partial brows because you can be so creative with them.

What an awesome topic! You are all gorgeous with and without makeup! It is true that we tend to see our own flaws amplified while others don't see them at all. For instance, I haven't even posted a pic of me WITH makeup because my skills are nothing compared to everyone else's here that I've seen. I will try to be brave though and rise to this challenge out of support because it is such a great post. Awesome ladies!

I love this topic and how it is progressing! As soon as I can, I'm definitely going to jump in here and post a picture. I think that you are most beautiful when you are yourself regardless of what you wear on your face. I know it's cheesy to say, but I think beauty comes from within and that's what everyone needs to focus on. Makeup to me is just another avenue to creativity and to enhance the beauty that you already possess.

We try to be the best we can, but that sometimes mislead some people to think they are perfect AKA cocky people lol.
What I think is that everyone have a different way to see beauty, and thats why we can be ourselves the way we are, meaning not all is black and white, or people sometimes have same ideas.
BTW I normally don't wear makeup, and I makeup myself for the sake of lerning, not because I like to do it on myself...
need models now hahaha, don't get me wrong its totally fine with doing it if you like doing it, I do it because I wanna grow as a makeup artist :)
