Shea Organics African Soap Elixir!
during my last year of High School my best friend suggested that i go to this organic Skincare shop in my town. To maintain my skin after the facial the owner told me even though I have fair skin because I'm Hispanic I should be using a soap for ethnic skin. At first I was thinking she's just trying to sell me this! but even when I didn't go for my yearly facial people noticed a significant difference in my skin.
I haven't bought it recently because her shop closed a year ago and i'm looking for something I could buy instead of ordering online and having to stock up. But my friend used it too same results we have the same skin type however I always suffered from severe acne within some years and she had a few blemishes if that. I just received Lush's Herbalism for my birthday I'm hoping it gives me just as great results seeing that its organic.

I would definitely say my Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Gel! I LOVE this stuff!
I've always had oily, sensitive, red, acne-prone skin and within a few weeks I noticed a major difference. My nose is hardly red at all anymore, and (until the stress of finals week) the number of breakouts I had was cut by at least half.
I don't love the smell, but it fades away in a couple seconds. And it goes on so smoothly that my little jar should last me at least a year.

This is TOUGH! I'm a skincare junkie but Id have to say PTR correction pads and Hylunia Beyond Complex C Serum ( I buy in bulk and use on clients) I will never go without it until I find something that proves to be better. I did a review/rave on it on my blog if you want more info and also included the direct link to the site. It's a professional product found in Spas and Derm offices. If you are interested in it, I'm also doing a giveaway. But do your research on it and the entire Hylunia line, it's incredible! http://www.mercedesmakeupobsession.com/2011/12/giveawayrave-hylunia-beyond-complex-c.html

Great thread, I'm getting tons of ideas!
It's part of my job to test skincare products, but I have super sensitive skin that breaks out (and scars!) easily. My mother gave me a sample of Weleda's skin soothing almond oil and I've been hooked ever since. It calms inflammation, hydrates, and nourishes. Not to mention it smells fantastic and the ingredients are absolutely fantastic and natural. Definitely one of my life-changing products—now I'm addicted to facial oils!

The more I read about the Clarisonic, the more I want it. I work at Sephora and it has been catching my eye for quite some time now. Payday is this week, I might just break down and get it!

LUSH Fresh Face Masks! I feel like I'm the #1 fan of these face masks...they have a wide variety for all different purposes and skin types, I personally love Cupcake, BB Seaweed and Brazened Honey...they're a nice treat for my skin after I shower and they make my skin feel AMAZING! :)

I found Oilatum natural repair face cream. Was like heaven for my patchy dried skin, it eats it up so well and now my skin is so soft. Currently I'm switching my face cream and cleansers etc up a bit to test if I can find a better product and right now just finished trailing Estée Lauder skin care but we shall see if anything beats my Oilatum. I shall be blogging about it too! Xx

Mine would have to be between the Clean and Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser because it really works for my skin or the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion because it's the best moisturizer I've ever used!

Nuance Salma Hayek Wild Lime Exfoliating Facial Gel
I have crazy sensitive skin, and most exfoliants cause my skin to really dry out, or become itchy, or leave a bad residue on my face, etc.
This gel does none of that, it heats up a little but thats about it, you can see a difference in one use, you can FEEL a difference in one use. And it's non irritating and perfect for my skin. I absolutely love exfoliating with this.

Olay Regenerist SPF 50 moisturizer. I despise most sunscreens so this product forces me to be on top of my UV protection daily!

It's a toss-up between facial wipes (almost any no-rinse facial wipes) or Dr. Hauschka's Moisturizing Day Cream. I can be really lazy about my skincare so cheap, easy to use facial wipes are a godsend. And Dr. Hauschka's moisturizer is the first I've ever really loved and the only one that's just right for my skin, it seems.

My Clarisonic mia totally changed my life. Since I started using it last summer, I haven't had any really bad breakouts or anything like that! I totally recommend it, and I can't say enough good things about it!

Mine's pretty simple: Clearsil Ultra Overnight Wash. For some reason it just works for me and leaves my skin feeling great. I literally just wrote a blog post about it http://thoughtsinlittleboxes.com/2012/01/09/confessions-of-a-beauty-product-addict-confession-one/

Absolutely agree on the Clarisonic—it's amazing. I also quite enjoy the Queen Helene Mint Julep face mask that you can get at drug stores, it's really good at drying up any acne spots I have and helping to firm up my skin a bit.

These products CHANGED my life/skin!
-Clarisonic
-Somme Institute 5-Step Regimen
-Murad acne treatment
Girls, if you have combination/oily skin....this is all you need! The clarisonic helps remove my make up and preps my skin for the Somme Institute 5-Step Regimen. The regimen includes: cleanser, exfoliant, serum -- hydrates the skin with vitamin C, moisturizer -- with vitamin A and E (I use this at night), and another moisturizer with spf 30 (I use this in the morning). Then I use the murad acne treatment for spot treatments.
Hope this helps!!

I have two that go hand in hand.... the Swiss Line by Dermalab Ageless Purity Mild Purifying Cleansing Gel (phew that's a mouthful!) and the Aquafolia Intensive Regulating Complex.
I started taking medication for my acne a while ago, and upon my aesthetician's urging I agreed to have an extracting facial followed by a chemical peel a week later. She recommended this for my skin - and I have noticed a lot of improvements in it! The facial & peel did take away all of the existing forming acne and bumps I had but this has helped keep my face smooth, soft, and has regulated my skin colour a little.
They were really expensive - a portion of that would be because I was buying them from my aesthetician's obviously - but if you have the money to spend and someone who supplies them I definitely recommend them.
The moisturizer however is extremely concentrated so you barely need a pea-sized amount for your whole entire face!

Hands down, Proactive Extra Strength kit and Josie Maran Argan Oil. Both have just absolutely transformed my (extreme combination, acne-prone) skin and I don't go a day without them now.
