My nails always chip in like 1 day or less. Do any of you have a favorite brand for LONG LASTING nail polish? Usually OPI and Sephora by OPI last the longest on me, but some shades still chip instantly.

I think it all depends on the color. I tried Butter London and it chipped the next day and then I tried another color and it lasted for days! I have good luck with China Glaze as well. I used my first Chanel polish the other day and only purchasing it for the color, expecting nothing more. And I was AMAZED! I only needed one coat, it was easy to apply, and lasted a long time without chipping at the edges. Now, I can justify the price a little more

Some Revlon polishes I have great luck with, others chip instantly. I never know until try the specific color. I agree, OPI lasts really well on me, except for their dark colors.

I have tried lower end and mid range brands from Wet n Wild to Sinful Colors China Glaze and ORLY and they all last the same amount of time on me. I think the top coat is key to having it last longer. I use Seche Vite but I go about 3 days without any chipping.

I tried Seche Vite, but it actually peels on me. I think the base and top coat make a big difference, and I have a base coat and top coat that works better than anything have, but I have noticed certain brands last better than others with the top and base coat. I haven't found anything better than orly bonder base coat and orly won't chip top coat.

All the popular high end brands are rubbish for me. =[ They chip off so quick. My favourite brands for long lasting are Mecca Cosmetica (Only in Australia and NZ) and Jesse's Girl nail polish - thats only $4!! Its so freaking amazing.

I haven't tried Jessie's Girl; I'm shocked that it is so good for so little!

What I love about Nail polish is that you can get amazing colours and quality for an eeny weeny price tag! I absolutely love Models Own and Barry M (UK) as they have a huge range and last just as long as OPI or MAC that I spend stupid amounts on. I also love Essie for plenty of fun, sweet shades and a good quality that's not too expensive. xx
